Lets say you and a mate what to start up a site. You might be merry at the start but times do change.

  1. Always buy the domain yourself!
    that you will have the law on your side
  2. Own 51% of the site
    this was you always have the casting vote.
  3. Host your self and don’t give them passwords
    they could take it down.
  4. Contracts!!
    this gives you a leg to stand on
