Google is doing a crack down on sites with Duplicate Content. You could see your self branded and a Black hat seo. Or if you not blocked, your page rank will be half for each content.

You might have dup content and not know it. Now to a human www.noloafing.co.uk and noloafing.co.uk are the same site. But O dear there not. Google will see the content 2 times.

There is a way out. “.htaccess” files.

1. Open a text editor
2. Save it as “.htaccess” (with out the qoutes)
3. Add this Code “RewriteEngine On

#301 redirect to www
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^noloafing.co.uk
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.noloafing.co.uk/$1 [R=301,L]” (with out the qoutes)
4. Change the urls to your.
5. Upload it to your sites directory. And CHMOD ( Might be called File Attributes) it to 644

Now you will always have the www in front of you domain. Google and other search engines will also be redirected

Actually, Google wont do shit regarding this, how they mean is having endless pages with the same content, ie

“loafing.co.uk site copied to;
asite.co.uk
anothersite.co.uk
yetanothersite.co.uk
andyetanothersite.co.uk
omganothersitetospamgoogle.co.uk
hahahahaiowntop8ongoogle.co.uk”

And you can still do that and get around it.

What’s more important is to ensure your site doesn’t look like or advertise as just a plain “Adsense Template” or just purely there to earn money.

Though also if you duplicate your index.html and have it as *keyword*.html and have the same content then it will start to click on, although if your doing that, your content should always generally be relevant to the keywords anyway!
